Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of Shop Wingman ("the Service"), operated by Cardinal Plaza Shell. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Questions can be sent to chris@cardinalplazashell.com.

What the Service does

Shop Wingman is an AI-powered assistant for auto repair shops. It integrates with your shop management software (Tekmetric) and Google Business Profile to help service advisors manage customer relationships, schedule appointments, and respond to reviews. Features and capabilities may change over time as the product evolves.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your shop.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or regulation.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that do not belong to you.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk, except data that pertains to your own shop.
• Use the Service to send spam, deceptive content, or content that misrepresents your shop or its customers.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.

Your data and content

You retain ownership of all data you provide or that originates from your shop, including customer records, repair orders, and review responses you author or approve. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We do not sell your data and do not use it to train AI models. Third-party services

Shop Wingman depends on third-party services including Tekmetric, Google Business Profile, Anthropic, and Supabase. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for outages or limitations caused by these third parties, but we will make reasonable efforts to communicate disruptions.

AI-generated content

The Service uses AI to draft suggestions, summaries, and review responses. AI output may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before it is sent to customers, posted publicly, or otherwise used on behalf of your shop. We are not liable for the accuracy of AI-generated drafts.

Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we will give reasonable notice for material changes that affect existing functionality.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shop Wingman and Cardinal Plaza Shell are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, if continued access creates legal or security risk, or if your account remains inactive for an extended period. Upon termination, we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fairfax County, Virginia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify account holders of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
