Who we are

Shop Wingman is an AI-powered assistant for auto repair shops. We help service advisors manage customer relationships, respond to Google reviews, and deliver a better shop experience. Our contact email is chris@cardinalplazashell.com.

What data we collect

• Account information — name, email address, and shop details provided during sign-up and onboarding.
• Google Business Profile data — when you connect your Google Business Profile, we access your business location, reviews, and review metadata (reviewer name, rating, and review text).
• Tekmetric service data — repair order history, vehicle records, and customer names from your connected Tekmetric account. This data is used solely to provide context for generating review responses.
• Usage data — basic logs of actions taken within the app, used to improve the product and diagnose errors.

How we use your data

• To generate AI-drafted review responses personalized to your shop's voice and the customer's service history.
• To display your Google reviews within the Shop Wingman dashboard.
• To match Google reviewers with service records from Tekmetric.
• To send appointment follow-up communications on behalf of your shop.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Shop Wingman platform.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models. Review responses are always reviewed and approved by a human before being posted.

Third-party services

Shop Wingman integrates with the following third-party services to operate:

• Google Business Profile API — to read reviews and post responses on your behalf.
• Tekmetric — to access repair order and customer data from your shop management system.
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — to generate review response drafts. Data sent to Anthropic is governed by their API usage policy.
• Supabase — to store your account, shop, and review data securely.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at chris@cardinalplazashell.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted storage, access controls, and secure API communication. OAuth tokens for connected services are stored encrypted and are never exposed to the browser.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will notify account holders of material changes by email. Continued use of Shop Wingman after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
